The story

A family name, built letter by letter.

In 1987, in the heart of Solférino, three brothers — Robin, Bipin and Roshan Reebye — opened a small eatery where friends could gather over a good bowl and a cold drink. Nearly four decades later, the tables have changed, the recipes have grown bolder, but the house still runs on the same thing: family.

Classic Fusion

Fusion food · served after sunset

La table

Three reasons the parking is full by eight.

The menu is short on ceremony and long on flavour — the kind of cooking that started at a family stove and never lost the accent.

1

The fusion kitchen

Robirosh cooked Chinese from 1988 to 2007 — then revisited everything. Today the menu is a fusion of China, Thailand and Mauritius: chili oil and garlic oil on the table, coconut Thai curry and pad thai alongside mine frit and riz frit, each with a touch you'll only find here.

2

The house platter

One platter that defines the whole kitchen — a bit of everything on a single board, the Mauritian touch running through it all. It's the order for a first visit, and the one the table ends up fighting over. Come and see for yourself.

3

Beyond the table

Takeaway when you'd rather eat at home, catering when the party comes to you — and private events too. Robirosh recently hosted its first wedding, and the room has a habit of making any celebration feel like family.

Inside Robirosh on a busy evening

Lespri Robirosh

This was never meant to be fine dining. It was meant to be Mauritius on a plate — a local eatery where friends gather, the welcome is warm, the bowl is generous, and nobody is in a hurry to leave.
